Why Multilingual Customer Interaction Matters for Indian MSMEs
MM AgroFlow Blog · 31 July 2026
Our own customers write to us in Tamil, Hindi, English, and a mix of all three in the same conversation — which is normal for a small business selling across India, and nothing like what most business software assumes.
Proven on mmrooted.com before it was built into AgroFlow
Before this became part of AgroFlow, it was built directly into mmrooted.com's own customer chat — a language picker covering a long list of Indian and international languages, with every section of the site translatable, not just the chat widget. That's the same multilingual interaction layer AgroFlow's Partner plan carries over, not a separate feature built from scratch for the platform.
Why this can't be an afterthought
A customer messaging in Tamil who gets an English-only auto-reply has effectively been told the business isn't really built for them. For an MSME whose entire customer base writes the way ours does, multilingual support isn't a nice-to-have translation layer bolted on later — it has to be how the system works by default, which is why it's one of the five things listed on AgroFlow's own Partner plan, not an upsell.
