We Built AgroFlow to Run Our Own Business First

MM AgroFlow Blog · 10 July 2026

MM Rooted Ventures grows GI-tagged Cumbum Panneer Thratchai dry grapes on a 4-acre family farm at Odaipatti, Theni — land that has been farmed by the same family for three generations. For most of that time, the business ran the way most small Indian farms and MSMEs still run: every order came in as a WhatsApp message, every processing booking was a phone call, and every customer's history lived in someone's memory rather than in one place.

That doesn't scale past the first few dozen customers

It's a fine system when you know every customer by name. It breaks down the moment you're running more than one line of business at once — which is exactly where MM Rooted Ventures is: food products, solar-drying processing services for other farmers, and now a software platform, all under one roof. Three businesses, one memory, is not a plan.

So before offering AgroFlow to anyone else, we put our own orders, our own processing bookings, and our own customer records into it first. Every order AgroFlow tracks today ships a real GI-tagged product, packed under our own FSSAI registration. If it doesn't hold up on our own business, it isn't ready for anyone else's.

Built for us first, opening next to other farmers and MSMEs

That's the order it happened in, deliberately: real business, then platform — not the other way round. AgroFlow is now opening in phases to the first group of partner farmers and MSMEs who sell the same way we used to — over WhatsApp and Instagram, not through enterprise software.
