Running an Agribusiness on WhatsApp vs. One Platform

MM AgroFlow Blog · 24 July 2026

We're not telling farmers and MSMEs to stop using WhatsApp — almost every one of our own customers still orders through it, and that isn't changing. The problem was never the channel. It was everything downstream of it.

Where it actually breaks down

An order confirmed in a chat thread is easy to find the day it's placed, and nearly impossible to find three months later when a customer asks about it. A processing booking taken over a phone call exists only in whoever answered that call's memory. A customer's full order history — what they've bought, how often, what they complained about once — lives nowhere except in the owner's head.

None of that is a WhatsApp problem specifically. It's what happens any time the record of a business lives in conversations instead of in a system.

What AgroFlow actually changes

AgroFlow doesn't ask customers to switch off WhatsApp. It asks the business to log the same WhatsApp order into one place instead of letting it live only in the chat — so three months later, that order, that customer's full history, and that processing booking are all still findable, by anyone on the team, not just whoever happened to take the call.

That's the whole shift: same channel customers already use, one record behind it instead of none.
